Specialty microphone cables that are specifically designed for cameras or
recorders with un-balanced mini jack inputs. Professional quality cable
and connectors are light weight, but strong for broadcast applications.
These cables correct problems that occur when heavy cables are used with
devices that have 1/8" microphone input jacks. The hang weight of heavy
cables, over time tends to bend the microphone input jack terminals so the
plug makes an intermittent connection. As a result, touching of the microphone
cable or connector causes audio noise (cracks and pops).Tip Ring Bridge
Cable with molded right angle 1/8" plug to XLRF applies mono equally
to stereo left and right mic inputs. The microphone input signal is capacitor
coupled to the mic input to reduce distortion in some microphones. To help
prevent accidental stress on the mini plug and mini jack connection, these
new cables include Velcro Rip-Tie fastening system that allows operator
to secure mic cables to camera tripod or a secure point.
