Manfrotto MVH500AH Fluid Video Head with Flat Base

Smaller than the 502 head, but larger
than the 701HDV head, the 500 head is perfect to shoot video
for DSLRs and smaller video cameras. Very similar to the old
501 head in size and features. The 500 utilizes the Bridging
Technology used in their larger heads. Uses fluid cartridges
on both pan and tilt. The quick release plate is longer than
the one used in the 701HDV/501/501HDV/503 heads, but is the
same width, so it is completely compatible with the 501PL plate.
One change - it is now a side-load operation instead of sliding
in from the back. Single counterbalance setting, not adjustable.
The 500 head has one 3/8" connector
on the side to allow an arm to be attached, for a monitor,
light, or microphone. Has a flat base with 3/8" hole, so it can
be attached to any tripod legs, slider or monopod. Max
Load Capacity - 5 kg. Has a bubble level.

The Manfrotto 504X fluid video head is the evolution of the hugely successful 504HD in a more compact and lighter version that comes with flat base (base diameter 75 mm), developed to meet the needs of the most demanding videographers. Utilising Manfrotto’s new fluid technology, the camera head allows you to capture judder-free smooth motion pans and tilts. It's never been easier for the operator to create premium-quality video capture, thanks to a 4-step counterbalance system which can carry payloads of up to 14.3 lbs at 55mm C.0.G. That makes using a wide range of different cameras easier and more practical. Two easy link 3/8'' thread connections allow an external monitor or other accessory equipment to be fitted on the head side. On the left side there is a cap cover on the 3/8” easy link connector to avoid cutting during usage. The sliding-plate side-lock attachment enables quicker set up of the camera, keeping video equipment stable and balanced. Head leveling is simple thanks to the clever backlit levelling bubble.
