RED Komodo Outrigger Handle - special order
(720-0057) The KOMODO™ Outrigger Handle is a low profile handle that offers full 360 degree swivel rotation and adjustment for maximum flexibility. Rugged design and integrated Record Start/Stop button, shooters can go into any project always ready to capture the perfect shot. The handle also has two ¼-20 mounting points for additional flexibility in rigging. The KOMODO Outrigger Handle is ideal for shooters who use one hand on the handle for grip and record button access, and the other for lens adjustments or support.

Core RED Komodo V-Mount Plate CXV-KOMU - special order
The CXV-KOMU is a BP to v-mount plate direct mount specifically designed for the RED Komodo camera, allowing use of 14.4V V-Mount batteries and leaving the camera’s DC input available for AC power and battery hot swap. When used with “smart” batteries that pass SMBUS data like Core SWX batteries, the camera will read battery percentage and runtime, providing accurate remaining battery capacity info. It’s equipped with 3 DC output ports: P-Tap, USB, and 2pin Lemo. The plate also has a reinforced V-Mount locking mechanism, making it the most robust V-Mount plate on the market.

Tilta V-Mount Advanced Power Distribution Module For Komodo - special order
(TA-T08-APV2-B) Black. This Module adapts the RED Komodo's dual Canon BP battery slots to a V-Mount. When using V-Mount batteries, this module will fully communicate with your camera body, allowing you to see your remaining battery life as a percentage on the RED Komodo's user interface. These modules will display 100% battery life for any voltage over 16V and will hit 0% at 12V which will align perfectly for most batteries. For batteries that can go below 12V, the module will stop powering the camera while there is still some life left in the battery, however, since most don't go much lower than 12V, the difference in duration should be negligible. This Module features an integrated Komodo EXT Cable that connects to the camera body to provide full communication for expanded functions like Run Stop and Timecode via additional ports. One of these ports being a 3 Pin Fischer R/S port allows you to trigger Run Stop and power a Nucleus M with a single cable via the optional 3 Pin Fischer Run Stop Cable.

REDVOLT BP - special order
REDVOLT BP’s provide longer run times (6300mAh) in a familiar compact form factor for your RED KOMODO.​ Batteries fully communicate with the KOMODO, allowing for charging from the camera and provides time remaining information.​ REDVOLT BP batteries can be attached directly to one or both BP slots on the rear of the KOMODO & can be hot-swapped.​ Approximate run time - 2 hours.

NOTE: REDVOLT BP is not compatible with DSMC, DSMC2 or RED RANGER camera systems.

Wooden Camera LW 15mm RED Komodo Baseplate - special order
(279300) LW15mm Baseplate provides 15mm lightweight rod openings at the correct distance to the center of the lens. ARRI standard M6 rosettes are on both sides along with 1/4-20 threaded holes. 3/8-16 ARRI accessory mount also available on camera-right side. Baseplate features upper ARCA Swiss standard dovetail with center screw channel and vertical lens support post system. Attach one 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 screw to camera bottom and position vertical, 1/4-20 rod post underneath lens adapter like Canon RF to PL Mount Pro (RED KOMODO). Lower dovetail slot is ARRI standard for attaching to ARRI dovetails or the included Quick Dovetail. With Quick Dovetail attached, the baseplate and camera combination can be combined with an ARRI standard bridge plate like Quick Release Bridgeplate (19mm) or Quick Release Bridgeplate (15mm Studio).

Tilta Baseplate for Red Komodo

Tilta's 15mm LWS Komodo baseplate attaches to the base of the Tilta full camera cage for RED Komodo to allow you to rig essential accessories on 15mm LWS rods such as a follow focus or matte box. Note: this baseplate is only compatible with the Tilta Red Komodo full camera cage, and won't work with any other cage from another company, nor work just on the camera without the Tilta cage.

This “full” camera cage provides protective armor for the RED Komodo camera. It provides several 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 mounting points for mounting accessories. It also includes two rosettes on each side as well as a cold shoe mount on top. The base of the cage also provides several mounting holes when attaching your camera to gimbals to more easily fine tune the balance of your setup. A variety of different baseplates can be attached to the bottom of the cage, allowing for various rod mounting and optional power supply configurations. The quick release top handle, adjustable quick release top handle, and various optional side handles can be attached to the cage to provide for different ways to comfortably operate your camera setup.
