Angenieux EZ-1 Standard Zoom

Angenieux, with their long tradition in high quality cinema zooms, breaks into the affordable independent market with the EZ-1 standard zoom lens. The EZ-1 has a number of interesting features. First is user-changeable rear element, to switch between Super35/Crop Sensor and Full Frame/Vista Vision modes. The advantage to this is if you get the package with both backs, you are covered on whatever camera you mount it on - be it a C300, FS7, F55, Red, Arri Alexa or Venice. Second cool feature is the interchangable lens mount - lens comes with a PL mount, but it can easily unscrew and you can purchase as an accessory either a Canon EF Mount or Sony E Mount, which means it can going onto virtually any interchangeable lens video camera on the market today. And did we mention it is a T2.0/T3.0 lens to boot?

The EZ-1 is a traditional cinema lens, which means manual exposure, manual focus, and manual zoom. Standard .8 pitch gear teeth on all three rings (focus, iris, zoom).
