to 8TB (8000GB!), the 4big features seven RAID modes, including RAID 0

RAID Choices - Can have RAID 0, 1, 3, 3 + spare, 5, 5 + spare.
RAID 0 - all the data is written across 4 drives. Gives
you maximum speed, but if one drive fails, the entire RAID dies.
RAID 1 - Data is written to 2 drives, and then mirrored
on 2 drives. Cuts the available storage in half (so a 1 TB becomes
500GB).
RAID 5 - If one drive in a RAID 5
array fails, the lost data can be rebuilt from data
on the remaining disks. Most secure for data. Storage
is cut by 25%, so 1 TB becomes a 750GB.
