The Mini Rover is a unique compact, lightweight and sturdy aluminum L-shaped camera support and accessory bracket that provides for mounting accessories such as lights or mics in the accesory shoe above the cushioned handgrip. Using the Mini-Rover steadies your hand-held camera work, and gives you greater flexibility in angles that you could never do before. Perfect for smaller camcorders and video SLRs. The versatile padded camera platform has anti-twist pins to keep the camera stable, plus standard tripod mounting holes so you can leave the Mini Rover on your camera and still attach it to a tripod or monopod or any handle that takes the same size mount. The Mini-Rover provides a similar two handed grip as the more expensive Fig Rig. You use the camera strap for one hand and the Mini-Rover handle for the other hand. We always encourage people to come in and do a camera test to compare this low cost grip to the more expensive options.
The Mini Rover is especially useful for camcorders that don't have a mounting shoe bracket on the top. If your smaller camcorder or D-SLR has no audio input, you can add sound by putting a digital recorder on the Mini Rover and synching your sound with the video you've shot in post.
